Skilled Trade Founder
Meet Jerry
Over the years Jerry has learned many skills from sales, to installs and service. Starting out in 1987 Jerry became a skilled plumber learning the trade from his father in law. Jerry then started Massie Plumbing Company and in 1991 opened up a local Pools, Spa and Fireplace store front right here in Vancouver Wa.
After many years of success came economic hardship and Jerry was forced to shut it down. But this only pushed him to try something new. He decided to go back to his roots where it all started and soon started working at a reputable local plumbing service company and quickly became one the top performers at this company, and his entrepreneurial mindset quickly caught up to him.
So in 2013 he founded MasPro Service. MasPro thrived for many years doing plumbing and HVAC service, then in late 2023 Jerry decided to sell the company but only after a year and half realized he was happier with the company in his hands so Jerry and his son Derrik decided to purchase the company back.
And that brings us to today, Jerry still serving his great customer base that he has built over the last 30+ years.

Meet Derrik
At age 14–15 Derrik would help his dad as a material handler. After 16 Derrik got a job as a shop boy at a small local electrical company learning the basics of electrical, working after school.
After graduating high school Derrik joined a 4 year electrical apprenticeship trade school. During those 4 years Derrik learned everything from residential and commercial new builds to service work and repair. Soon after graduating from trade school and getting his journeyman license, Derrik decided to take his Electrical Administrative license as well.
This soon came in handy when Derrik joined MasPro and the electrical division was born. Not long after helping start an electrical division, Derrik purchased the company along with Jerry and now are able to proudly serve SW Washington in Plumbing, HVAC and Electrical.

How expensive is an HVAC install?
How often should I service my HVAC system?
Your HVAC should be serviced 1 time per year at the minimum!
MAS Pro recommends service 2 times per year, with common systems. Filters can collect a lot of contaminants, including pollen, dander hair and skin particles! Upgrading your air filter system and regular maintenance can help negate allergies and illnesses in your home! There are really great products that can help super clean the air in your home, call and ask about our products today!
What HVAC system should I use in an older home?
If your home is older and doesn’t have a current HVAC system, a ductless mini split may be great for heating and cooling your home!
Very efficient, moderately priced, and quick installations, especially as MAS Pro Service can do the whole thing without subcontractors!
What maintenance should I do with my plumbing?
Maintenance once per year on your plumbing can save you money.
Having a pro inspect your plumbing to ensure your drains are clean & and free from sediment build-up. This can cause drains to function poorly and backups can happen! Also regular checks on the waterproofing and tightness of sinks, faucets and showers ETC can save a leak! If you’ve never had a home plumbing inspection, now is the time.
Does my home require electrical maintenance?
Always.
Regular checks of fire alarms and carbon dioxide are important for your safety! Also, every three years the National Electrical Code is updated and new safety standards are introduced that can better protect you and your family. If your home is 15 years old or older, you may want to consider having it evaluated by a professional.
Can I install my own vehicle charger?
Yes and no, plugging an EV charger cord into a 120v outlet is something anyone can do.
Unfortunately, these chargers are not efficient and can take 20 hours or more to fully charge! To install a higher voltage charger, you will need a permit and a licensed electrician to do the installation properly. Call today for more information.
